Kelly Minter is passionate about women coming to know Jesus Christ through the pages of Scripture. Encouraging women along this journey, Kelly speaks, writes and sings throughout the United States and overseas. Her roots as the oldest of four and as a pastor’s daughter, Kelly has had a love for Scripture ever since she was a child.
Kelly’s latest book release is a personal memoir about her trips to the Amazon jungle entitled, Wherever The River Runs: How a Forgotten People Renewed My Hope In The Gospel. Her fifth Bible study curriculum, All Things New: A Study of 2 Corinthians, (November 2016), is the most recent addition to the Living Room Series and her third to include video teaching sessions as well as written material. Acclaimed Bible Teacher Beth Moore & LifeWay Women have facilitated each of Kelly’s previous study titles as online Bible studies for women through their blogs.
In addition to writing, Kelly has recorded several albums. Her most recent record, “Hymns & Hallelujahs” is an acoustic collection of original songs and favorite hymns, some of which are featured on the All Things New teaching videos. She is also passionate about serving the poor and forgotten around the world and is deeply invested in the work of Justice and Mercy International as their work in Brazil and Moldova. She has also recently launched her own conference-style event, "Cultivate: A Women's Gathering Around the Word" that seeks to unite women through Biblical teaching, prayer, mission and acoustic worship through a stylistically simple approach.
Kelly resides in Nashville, TN and particularly enjoys spending her free time with friends and family or in the large garden she has planted in her backyard. She treasures cooking and community around the table, both at home and abroad.
