Dr. Christina Crenshaw teaches Leadership and Education courses at Baylor University. She is also the Program Director for Truett's Youth Spirituality and Sports Institute: Running the Race Well. She serves as the Prevention Committee Chair for The Heart of Texas Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition, and she is a Board Member of Communities in Schools. Christina has worked closely with The A21 Campaign in the areas of anti human trafficking curriculum, advocacy, and research. She served on the Brain Trust for Propel Women during its 2015-2016 launch. She previously held the position of Assistant Professor at California Baptist University before moving to Texas. Christina and her husband, Craig, now reside in Waco, TX with their two boys Christopher (age 4) and Corban (age 3).
Phyllis Hennecy Hendry serves as the inaugural President and CEO of Lead Like Jesus, a global leadership ministry headquartered in Spartanburg, SC. Under her visionary leadership, the organization has grown exponentially since its founding in 1999, developing and empowering thousands of people throughout the United States and around the world to lead as Jesus led.
The epitome of Southern charm, Phyllis radiates passion, warmth, authenticity and wit in every presentation. As a result, she is a highly sought after speaker, regularly travelling across the U.S. and around the world to deliver the hope-filled, love inspired, story laden, and deeply personal messages that pour straight from her heart. She has been featured as a keynote speaker for crowds of 5,000-plus – often simulcast to thousands more – sharing the stage with such well-known orators as Ken Blanchard, John Ortberg, Rosey Grier, Erwin McManus, Patrick Lencioni, Henry Blackaby and more. Firmly believing “there are no unimportant conversations,” Phyllis also finds great joy communicating in more intimate settings, such as for congregations, in small group retreats, and during one-on-one encounters.
Phyllis has enjoyed a fulfilling career in leadership positions within business, nonprofits, and ministry. Prior to joining Lead Like Jesus, she served for 11 years as President of the National Science Center, Inc., in Augusta, Georgia, a partnership with the United States Army. In this role, she collaborated with top military and government officials.
Her heart’s greatest desire is to lead individuals into a deeper relationship with Jesus, so that their lives will be transformed and their leadership will have maximum influence. Through the ministry of Lead Like Jesus, Phyllis is helping develop and empower people around the world to adopt Jesus as their leader role model, so that through Him the world will be forever changed. She is the co-author of the recently released Lead Like Jesus Revisited: Lessons from the Greatest Leadership Role Model of All Time.
Phyllis resides in Spartanburg, SC and enjoys spending time with her four children and nine grandchildren.
Nancy Reece is an Integrity Fanatic whose life mission is to equip and encourage servant leaders to choose well, lead well, and love well. Nancy currently teaches as adjunct faculty at Lipscomb University’s Graduate College of Business. Nancy served for 10 years as Senior Consultant for the Human Capital Group, Inc., a faith based executive search and consulting firm. She brings a 30-year background in non-profit management including service as national management consultant for YMCA of the USA. Nancy was the first woman elected National Board Chair of the Association of YMCA Professionals in its 130-year history. She has served on the board of International Christian Ministries and as board chair for Mercy Community Healthcare. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Evansville, her M.S. degree from Indiana University, and is a certified emotional intelligence coach and trainer for Lead Like Jesus.
